My God
How awesome is my God!
I’m constantly amazed
At his love, his mercy, his grace
No matter what you’ve done
Or what’s been done to you
I can tell you my friend that God is good
I was lost, so lost
I thought I was beyond help!
But nothing’s too much for my God
He’s not surprised, angry or upset
At the severity of my sin
At my selfishness, disobedience and shame
He doesn’t punish, nor condemn
He gives us all the love, support
Understanding, time, respect
Everything we’ll ever need
At no cost, all out of grace
