Faith

Some feel they see fading lights in each City,
Others feel light has arrived.
Some say; 'My eyes look upon you with pity'.
Others recognize your pride.

Those who attend every regular Service
come home, thus enlightened with love.
Others attend, yet, their neglected journey,
return to their game; 'push and shove'.

Seven times Seventy; Jesus' words,
when He spoke of forgiveness above,
All those in Heaven support this ideal,
in awareness our hearts, thus, are moved.

Others who find no grace in religion
'humanists' I think they are called.
Portray every kindness, are giving, discerning,
and isn't this love, after all?

So what does it matter
if you dance to your drum,
as I, thus inclined, dance to mine?
Both of us dance to the rhythm of music,
replayed throughout time after time.
