About our womanhood...

Ladies, some of you might be familiar with what I am going to say. Take heart, Jesus is your Savior and Lord, He knows your tender heart and all your woundings.

Our womanhood is very easily wounded and injured especially in this world, more or less, we will be affected by how others define us, they define us by our appearance (long or short hair), our job (if you are a policewoman), your circle of friends...

Our earthly father has a place in our heart, or our earthly mother too. But mostly our relationship with our earthly father injure us or affect us the most in relation to our relationship with our Heavenly Father. If we do not have a good and healthy relationship with our earthly father, it will affect directly or indirectly to our relationship with our Heavenly Father. I myself were one of the victims.

I hated my earthly father for quite some times since the time I was a youth, I hated the fact that he did not take up full responsibility as a dad at home, he traveled lots minding his own business but not the family.

I felt ignored, neglected by him and not just me, but I felt so unfair for my mom to look after 4 of us, and I am the youngest in the family.

I did not realize how much it also affected my relationship with God, and until I was about 20 something, I went for counseling, and no wonder I discovered my own self, that I had not fully trusted what the Bible says about the Heavenly Father - His unconditional love for me, that He does love me, not that I have to perform a 100% right in His sight, I do not need to earn His love. And no matter how bad I was, I behaved, He will still be there to accept and love me.

Have you found that unconditional love yet?
Have you experienced His love yet?

It is very important for us ladies to look at our past and look at our present, making sure we know how much God loves us. And we need to forgive those who have sinned against us, the more we hold onto the hurt in the past, the harder for us to experience the freedom in Christ.

The freedom is that, we can be set free from hatred, hating others is equal to murder someone.
As long as we do not forgive, we are hurting ourselves deep in our hearts, that person might not care or even know how much he/she hurts us. We ourselves will be greatly injured...in order to receive the healing, we need to forgive, that's the 1st step we need to take. Pour our our hearts before God, ask Him to cover us by His blood.

Yes, we need to walk toward the steps to Freedom.

Sisters.....I spoke from my personal experience here, and I would love to see more sisters setting free from bondages of sin, or hatred.

No matter what you experienced in your past, remember God is your healer, He understands your every needs. He sees all your sorrow.

Come to God for healing today.
