Only you have your ways, like you there's no one else.
The way you are I'm amazed. I'm beside myself.
Only you have your perspective, with your gifts and talents.
Your own passions are your directive, you have your special bent.
No one else is just as bold, or just as timid.
Each of you is in His hold. I see this, oh so vivid.

You're mature, or you're a babe, each with a special place.
Like varied colors that are saved, original as your face.
The fact you're here testifies of a creative God.
I'm astounded, not surprised. He is great so I thus laud.
In His name we're not the same. That Truth will not leave.
Our common ground is our blame, likewise is our need.
Be it sister or a brother, each of you shows me Jesus.
It's just a Jesus of another color. I pray that you see this,

In the name and in the blood, you each have been my seed.
I'm provoked to give His love, 'cause He used you for my need.

I see you all, like the rainbow, the sign of His Promise.
All our sins He has thrown, far as East is from the West.
My heart is yours, it's from Him, taken from the dust.
The Yes and the Amen, Jesus, He has given us.

May these words be a song, from the wind and reed.
I may have met your heart's throng. I may have met a need.
