The Healing that We All Need

Many of us are familiar with the term 'healing', how many of us are seeking help from someone in our society, in our church? I cam imagine perhaps the numbers are huge. Especially we live in a so complex society, where we find ourselves so pressured by the worldly standards, whether it's at work, at home or elsewhere.

'Healing' does sound a 'must' to all believers.

We are wounded in some ways, when we were young, we might have been abused in several ways, and so again 'healing' is needed.

As far as I concern, is that where do we seek help? Do we seek help at church, look for others to help us? There should be some balance in seeking help from other peoples, not to put all the burden onto a particular person because that person has earned good reputation about counseling. We ourselves sometimes do need to take part in the 'healing', we need to CONFESS OUR SINS, ACKNOWLEDGE OUR RESPONSIBILITY some issues in our lives. Then ASK GOD FOR HIS WISDOM to show us where to seek help.

God might point you to someone, and yet! I believe that as believers, do we daily cleanse ourselves by confessing our sins to God? Do we also confess our sins to one another, and ask our brothers and sisters to pray for us, that we might be healed. Like what the Bible says?

'Healing' can take place when we first deal with the issues WITH GOD in a personal way - confess our sins daily to God, ask His Holy Spirit to cleanse us from all sins (both obvious and hidden sins) and once we did that - as it is our very responsibility before throwing it to someone else's shoulders.

Hope you understand the important of doing 'self-check' ourselves before we go over to others and let others to deal with our problems/struggles.

We do our 'self-check', ask God to examine our hearts, and ask God to reveal things we do not understand, and very effectively, the Holy Spirit would let you and me know if anything is displeasing to Him.

I encourage you, brothers and sisters today, to take a step of 'self-check', cleanse ourselves daily, come to God boldly and deal with the issues directly with God first, if He directs you to someone, that's great. Maybe God is asking us to be honest with ourselves and himself, just go boldly by faith and ask Him for healing.
