Sinners Sin In The Flesh
Christians Sin In The Spirit

There are those that sin in the flesh and sin to the Spirit of God. When Man come to give his life to God, go through the process of repentance, sanctification, regeneration and justification he is no longer his own, but he belongs to God. Therefore every sin he does is to the Spirit although it is done in the flesh.

Every time man will sin after he comes to know Christ he accuses Jesus before God time and time again. When the Christian do sin they allow Satan free course not only in their lives but he goes to God and say Jesus is not alive. He is there to denounce Jesus which means to accuse, condemn, inform against, to brand, stigmatize, charge, blame, incriminate, criticize, decry, attack, assail, censure, betray, report or reveal. All because we do not realize who we are in Christ we give the Devil power against God. We make Satan who he is because we lack knowledge of who he really is.

The thief cometh not but for to steal and kill, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.

I Peter 4:1-6
For as much then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind. For he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin. That he no longer live the rest of his time in the flesh in the lusts of men, but to the will of God . For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles when we walked in lasciviousness, lust, excess of wine, reveling, banqueting, and abominable idolatries. Where in they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you. Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. For this cause was the Gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the Spirit. In times past we served sin in the flesh, but now to God in the spirit.

Christians sin now meaning at the present or mentioned time, immediately under the present circumstance, this time, the present intermittently at the moment, right now, today, or promptly. We are guilty everyday because we are envious of someone, jealous of the talents and abilities of others, desire to be like someone else other than what God has called us to be and we cause divisions among men when we backbite and drop those little pieces of a lie to make us shine where men will see us rather than God. Praise draws men to God. We are guilty of being envious of the praise of God. In the times of our lives we are in competition for a place in heaven when we are not ready for Jesus to come back to the earth. Times mean indefinite continued progress of existence or events in past, present and future regarded as a while, at once, immediately, before you know it, right away, opportune occasion, or moment, point, date, instant, juncture, or chance. These are the things we did in the world with that spirit of competition. Saints wake up, may day is long gone; that was our past. Past means gone by in time, recently completed or gone by, relating to a former time, expressing a past action or state. Over, done, finished, last, recent, history, hack ground, life, or career. Who are we really trying to please?

Have God been denounced by you in the past, present, right now or anytime? I am sure that the answer is yes because at one point or another we all have sin and fell short or God’s glory. But it is also now time that we let go of the past and carry on into our future. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy the anointing God has placed in man through His Son dying to hinder the progress of God. Once he causes us to sin against God, then he accuses man before God and this is how man denounces God each and every day. He blocks our intestinal fortitude, the strength of mind that allows one to endure pain or adversity with courage, to keep us subjected to his rule. Man’s intestinal fortitude is God’s Spirit that he has put inside of man to keep them purged. In time past man has been ignorant of Satan’s devices, but now he is without excuse.

When we will not repent or purge our self of sin, we cause man to accuse God of their own faults or errors, and condemn God when you blame others for what you yourself does, or find excuses for not doing what you need to do, and you condemn God when you condemn, bring accusations against, criticize, attack or betray your sisters and brothers in the Lord. Man is always ready to inform another brother or sister what they need to do or what the Lord is telling them concerning another rather than going to that person and restore them in the proper place with God. They will incriminate someone by revealing secrets or whatever they want reported on them to hold them in a position subordinate to them. This is denouncing God’s will for that person’s life therefore you denounce God in the Spirit and you become an enemy to the cross of Christ.

Another thing that brings denunciation to God’s name is our self-righteousness, piously sure of one’s righteousness. Man will self-righteously brand or stigmatize their brothers and sisters in the flesh thereby causing them stagnation in their spiritual growth. They put things to the charge of others that are lies and deceitfully use them against the other person for their own personal gain, what a decry against the Spirit of God. It is not that many will sin in the flesh, though they may secretly want to, but they sin in the spirit and thinks no one knows their deeds but God in Heaven. But God reveals man’s doing because what they do it affects their spiritual being. When you are in Christ and Christ in you, walking, talking, and living, he reveals the spirit of that man and it will seem to that man that you are looking straight through him. In times past man was bound by the sin that so easily beset him, but now they are free. Their past is gone by, they no longer live to the lusts of the flesh, it is over, done away with, finished, it is what use to be the old man, and now the old man is history. Man cannot hold on to the past and elevate in the future. Your past is for hope of greater experiences. Man is to look beyond the cover, see what is inside, look diligently for the creator and not the creature, then he is ready to receive spiritual things.

To get in the Spirit like God says, we have to accept the second trinity, consecrate unto the Lord, be set apart for God’s service, and be dedicated to the worship of God. There are things that must be understood. Romans 12:1, I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. II Corinthians 8:5, and this they did, not as we hoped but first gave their own selves to the Lord. Holy means perfect moral integrity or purity; freedom from sin, sanctity. Christians are called Holy or Saints as wholly consecrated to God’s service, habitually good, not sinning, thinking, or acting in a Godlike manner and conforming their innermost being to the will of God with outward manifestation of blameless conduct living the life of the pure in heart. Holiness is the gift of God through the mediation of Christ. Everything dedicated to God partakes in a certain manner of his holiness. Holiness signifies that every thought of man, every emotion, every act, every deed, yea all that combines to make up one’s life, is determined by the will of God and the old man that was once burdened by worldly lust and shackled with the chains of the flesh is cast off, and the new man is fully put on. This is both the work of God and man. God has given man divine grace through Jesus Christ, so how much more should man want to grab hold of the banner of God using the sanctifying means of grace with the assistance of God for perfecting the state of purity. To be a Christian the old man must die. Holiness, perfection and sanctification are three synonyms in religious experience. Perfection is a state of purity, an endowment of complete excellence, ideal, or faultlessness. Sanctification is the state of being sanctified or made holy especially the act of God’s grace by which the minds and hearts of men are purified, alienated from sin and exalted to a supreme love for God. Consecration is being set apart for a sacred purpose, made free from sin; cleansed from moral corruption, and made efficient in the cause of the master. Holiness, sanctification and consecration, these three; the second trinity comprehends the whole of man’s Christian life. The people of God have squeezed God out with sin. God will not come into a vessel that is not cleaned and garnished. God is battling constantly for the soul of man. Man is constantly looking back to the world for their help and acquire other demons they have not known before. The love of God has waxed cold in the heart of men because those that are suppose to be his is mean, hateful, envious, jealous and manipulative. They make plans to do acts that is against God's Will. They speak things they ought not, giving man excuses to sin. They also partake of mischievous deeds that bring pain in the lives of others. Sinners are watching the actions of Christians that they can excuse their misdeeds or sin. Do not let your good be evil spoken of. You can use someone else pain to bring you joy, God forbid.
