When we were kids we played “Cowboys and Indians†and “sheriffs and outlaws†– we played with cars and trucks and built roads. We didn’t play church.

Sometimes church feels empty - like something is missing. I want more than good sermons, good worship and good friends – I want more, much more of God.

I don’t want to “play†with God – I want to be real in my experience with Him. Father, please show us how to encounter You in life-changing ways.

I want a genuine God like the New Testament reveals, One within, One here, One who cares and One who heals the broken hearts and delivers the captives.

I look for people who actually “know†Him, but in spite of all the church buildings, few seem to have many answers.

I am not content with rumors, or bits of information about the Almighty. I want 40 days on the mountain – that’s what I’m talking about!

I read of people of old who “tarried†for days in His Presence – John Hyde and the missionaries in India spent a solid week entreating the Most High before their conferences.

That’s what I am wanting, a band of believers who want more and will not be satisfied with anything less than Jehovah Himself.

It was predicted during the Azusa Street experience that a manifestation would return in 100 years – it is time for that to happen.

Why not us, why not now, why not here, why not Pentecost again? Am I the only one interested?
