JERUSALEM POST by Kaleb Lappin – Shevat 13 - Benjamin Eiland filed papers in Jerusalem District Court today, seeking damages from Christians for alleged “abusive behavior by Jesus of Nazareth.” Christians have extensive holdings and real estate (Acts 4:34) throughout Jerusalem and the surrounding countryside. Family members say they don’t want any special treatment, “just what is rightfully theirs” since Judas was one of the inner twelve. It is estimated his share of the holdings would be worth millions. They allege Jesus, the late founder of Christianity, was an artful con man, well known for his God complex and outrageous statements. They further say he was abusive in his relationships and that his unbalanced behavior directly contributed to the untimely death of Judas Iscariot two and a half years ago. Judas was well known in the Jerusalem area for his accounting firm on Bethany Blvd. Jesus once said, it is claimed, that people should “eat his flesh and drink his blood” (John 6:53). Another time the family asserts the Nazarene said he was “one with the Father” meaning Jehovah (John 9:30). Lastly, they say Jesus called Judas “a betrayer” (Matt 26:21,25) and also a “devil” (John 6:70). Numerous times the Pharisees tried to correct the flawed ideas and teachings (Matt 9:34;12:24) of the carpenter from Nazareth, but he always rejected their efforts to assist him. Jesus had delusions, religious and civil authorities who speak off the record admit, but he refused all their sincere attempts to help him (John 8:48). Jesus just wouldn’t listen to their straightforward counsel. Mr. Eiland has a statement by renowned psychiatrist Dr. Abram Hoffman and testimonies by leading Rabbis – like Rabbi Armon and Rabbi Hiram - who often interacted with Jesus. The case isn’t expected to come to trial for months – perhaps until Sivan or Tammuz - maybe a settlement will be reached before then.
