God's love wasn't done in the dark
so I don't want that secret love
But to have that perfect love that hurts
proven by his Son from heaven above

Don't want God's love to be put in a bottle
take the top off so it can flow
Let it spread out and be seasoned with grace
so much that the world will know

Whenever wounded, deep down within
the broken pieces, God, picks up
And when he does, it won't cut his hands
as he ministers, to we, the cup

In the word it's mentioned of his endowing gifts
all of them freely given to us
And this is good, but, here's something better
which is charity, that is, a must


I may know the bible from front to back
and pray until soaked in sweat
Testfify on the rooftop, dance the best shout
but, there is things I've yet haven't met

For I can speak like a sparrow, sing like a Lark
but, have not love it profits me not
Though shine like gold, wear priceless diamonds
but, got to come up, without one spot

The best of perfumes will not cleanse me
wear fancy clothes, fine and fit
Eat at the finest dinners, own the biggest mansion
why can't enjoy it with, God's love with it

His love makes you to love your enemies
and that goes without a reason
True love forgives when your done wrong
and it takes the word to season

This love it will give until it hurts
it goes on, not just one day
It will give, not looking to receive it back
love keeps giving, out of it's way

This love of God will pick you up
and it never pulls you down
Love does things with a joyful spirit
and it doesn't wear a frown

Love heals and tend to the many wounds
and will not have one regret
Love will bring a smile through the pains
this love helps one to forget

This love of God it finds no faults
it puts out with no return
It seeks to find the good in others
this is so that you will earn

The favoritisim of God that he gives out
which will most surly rest on you
And no matter the cost that it expects of us
God's word will bring us through

Now without his love it's not real living
for perfect love cast out all fears
And though it does come with a price with it
but it's a blessing to be called his dears
