It's a challenge to even get up each morning
to go and work on that job each day
Whatever the chore or appointment it is
one knows they must be on the way

Life is waiting at the door
for you to open and claim
And it's up to us to face, whatever comes
so the word hero will fit your name

Now it may not be, all rose's on this trail
and know a few thorns you'll have to face
But if serious, then it won't matter
and glady accept, the run of the race

Not everyday dark clouds will hang
there will come our sunny days too
Also will appear some gifts of praise
so lets anchor down and go on through

Try to let your thoughts dwell on good things
don't let your problems be your feast
Pull out of you the best that you have
and then they will become your least

Life never showed us every angle
it didn't present a picture of flair
But even so, we can master flow
even when it plays unfair

For when you welcome the bid of challenges
you have proven just who you are
And you will blaze the trails of tests and trials
even if it seems a bit far

Don't ever lose confidence in yourself
be encouraged and stay in the fight
We must not let life dictate to us
and don't ever lose our sight

Then life will open the door for you
and will say" I welcome your wit!
For I see you accepted whatever the challenge
and I find you, well and fit
