A Psalm of His Banners!!!!

Unfurled in all its Glory
His banner over me is Love!
Soaring high for all to see
His banner over me is Love!

I lift my eyes, I see His emblem
His banner over me is Love!
Reminding, confirming, verifying
His banner over me is Love!

Oh to live under his protection
His grace and mercy cover me
There are no limits to His banner
He completely envelops me!

Shielding, protecting, defending
His banner over me is Love!
A sign to every enemy
His banner over me is Love!!!

Leading, Guiding, Claiming me,
His banner over me is Love!
He is mine and I am His
His banner over me is Love!

I like your Psalm of God's Banners! If only we weren't so forgetful and distracted by the storm around us we could walk on water like Peter did---as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus! Your poem reminds me of Psalm 91 and "the secret place of the most High." Such a comfort to realize we are covered over with His robe of righteousness, we can snuggle in that downy nest under His wings, and "underneath are the everlasting arms!" Whoop-de-do!

Thank you for pouring out blessings on me this morning as I found delightful comments from you on two of my stories, too. You are such a treasure to me, Cindy! I love you to pieces :)

This is beautiful. It flows so gracefully. It reminds me of the song we sang when I was a kid, His Banner Over Us is Love. These stanzas are so true and a good reminder.
