“Fear Not!”



Blessings to you Dear Friend,



“Fear Not!”



“One day Fear has knocked on my door and Faith moved forward to open but than, Fear was gone.”





Surely fear opposition is Faith. When we loose Faith we make room for fear to come in and settle. Correction, we choose to give room for fear to come in and settle. And we fear so many things…



We fear that our health will get us to be sick…

We fear that our children are still too small and what if we will not be here anymore to take care of them…

We fear that at the end of the month we will not have enough income to pay our bills or fearing as to what bills to pay and which bills not to pay…

We fear that we are not safe where we live…

We fear that our jobs will come to an end…

We fear that we will not find another job if the current one would end…

We fear that within all our troubles, God Will Not Come Through to us…



Pressing fears all of them, weighing about 100kg each of them on yours and my shoulders. But I have learned something. A few years ago if I could have been one of the Disciple of Jesus in the boat, I would have screamed and shout at Him, being the first possibly telling Him, “Sorry Lord, this is the wrong time to fall a sleep! Make a plan and get us out of here.” But that whole episode being in the boat and being in the storm has shown something else over the years to me.



“Now when Jesus saw a crowd around Him, He gave orders to depart to the other side of the sea.” (Matthew 8;18 NASB)





Jesus Has Given an Instruction to His Disciples to get into the boat and sail to the other side of the sea. Meaning, (my opinion of course) Jesus Knew already that there will be a storm during the trip. Of course, the Disciples didn’t. That time they did not understand what Jesus Was Displaying to them. What did Jesus Displayed to His Disciples, you may ask? Well, Jesus Was With them in the Storm!! Right? Even if He Was asleep. Trinity in one…all asleep. But He Was in the storm with His Disciples.



And that is what I had to acknowledge and learn, it does not matter what storm will come in my way because my Lord Knew long before I did that the storm was on it’s way and furthermore and foremost, He Is in the storm with me and with you. And therefore that is enough to keep all fears away but to strengthen our faith.
