We have a Father, a really caring Father. Always thinking of us and proving everything in our needs. But still we are worried. We are depressed. We are restless. We never think of His great love for us. We never bother about the promises he ha given to us. We never realize that there is somebody like that who really cares for us.

He Takes Care of Us
Jesus has taught us to pray this way: “Give us this day our daily bread”(Matthew 6:11) this prayer gives us the assurance that our daily needs are met by our Father and so we should be away from the cares, worries and anxieties. Only thing we are expected to do is just to rely of God. Although science and technology have taken giant strides to fill the modern man with all kinds of comforts and luxuries, his cares and worries have only increased. Cares and worries bring only tension, depression and all kinds of diseases. That is why the Bible says, “Anxiety weighs down the human heart.”(Proverb 12:25)

Have Confidence in That Father
We are the children of God, Who never forgets His duty to feed us. What we are expected to do is to remain closer to Him and face the all the crises of life with confidence. “Do not keep striving for what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not keep worrying” (Luke 12:29). This does not mean that you close your eyes to your responsibilities or shun them; but you are expected only to carry out them with the assistance of that Father.

Do not be devoured by Worries
Jesus has taught us how to tackle worries. “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food and the body more important than clothing? The pagans busy themselves with such things; your heavenly Father knows that you need them all…Do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough of its own” (Matthew 6: 31-34)

Let Not Worries Choke You
Over anxieties and excessive worries are obstacles for our listening to our Father. Because the Bible says, “the cares of the world and the lure of wealth choke the word, and it yields nothing”. (Matthew 13:22) Let us hand over all our cares to our beloved Father. “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you” (Psalm 55:22)
Our heavenly Father is waiting for us with extended hands to embrace and fill us with His loving wishes.
