If this is your problem, you need to get saved, let me explain, have a look at the following Scriptures;
Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
1Co 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
If you are truly born again, according to Scripture you have God's heart and His Holy Spirit. God's very own love has been shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit. To say you have no love for the lost in your heart is to admit that you are unsaved, for John 3:16 tells us that "God so LOVED the World that He gave His only begotten Son". Therefore, that same love abides within true Christians. When most people make this excuse, they are meaning, "I don't feel (fleshly) any love for the lost". To this the Word of God says 'the just shall live by faith' Romans 1:17. The Word of God tells us we're filled with His love, and that we are to go and preach the gospel to the lost (Matt 28:18-20, Acts 1:8). So we, 'the just', don't live by feelings, but rather we believe the Word of God and we go out and do it, regardless of how we are "feeling", feelings usually follow and soon you'll be overwhelmed with the joy of preaching the Gospel. This is quite a common excuse used by those professing Christianity when encouraged to participate in an outreach to the lost. We do understand that many Christians are scared, but firstly, we haven't been given a spirit of fear, so get up now and cast the one off you, out. Secondly, it's quite a serious thing to be preaching and using unscriptural excuses and statements, you are much better off admitting your scared or other, than doing that.
