All Christian’s agree and believe that there is only one way to Heaven, and that way is through the Jesus Christ of the Bible, but not all Christians will lock in and apply all of Jesus Christ’s Words to their life. They use excuses like “God understands I'm not ready for this or for that”, or, “God knows my heart”, or, “that's not my calling”. In affect they choose what they want in there Christian walk, and deny the rest. They only take the words that they see are beneficial for their life right now. But is this type of Christianity the Christianity of the Bible. First off, to really understand the way to Heaven we need to understand Jesus Christ. For Jesus said there is only one way to the Father, and that way is through Him (John 14:6).

So then who is the Jesus of the Bible? We know Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the Savior but in John 1:1, John gives us a more in depth understanding of who Jesus is. It reads, “in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”. Verse three then tells us “all things were made by Him (Jesus) and without him nothing was made”. John 1 verse 14 then goes on to tell us “the word was made flesh”. This tells us that the Word of God is Jesus Christ! but much more than that, the Word (Jesus) is God the Creator of Heaven and earth, and all things were made by him. In knowing that Jesus Christ is the Word of God, therefore the way to Heaven is through believing and committing your life to the Word of God, the Holy Bible. That is what it means to commit your life to Jesus Christ and thereby be saved.

Therefore choosing your own type of Christianity is not Christianity, it is idolatry that may look a bit like Christianity, and the Lord told us no idolater will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Many people today have constructed and chosen, not the Jesus Christ of the Bible, but a religion with a type of jesus to suit themselves. Don't get me wrong everyone has different gifting and different callings on their life in Christ, but all must follow and apply the instructions of the Bible into their life. This is the way to Heaven. This is what it means to believe in Jesus, to believe in the Word because the Word is Jesus. There is no other way. Many Christians will say when confronted about their unbiblical walk “God knows I love him”, and “I'm saved”, yet they will not choose to obey the Word of God regarding how to walk and please God as a Christian (1 Thess 4:1) even when shown clearly and inarguably. Making excuses and letting their feelings control and dictate their lives rather than the Lordship of Christ and simple obedience to Him.
One excuse that I hear often from people following their feelings and emotions over the Word of God is, “well God gave us feelings and emotions”. I agree, but the Bible also tells us that we live in a fallen man, a man that knows not the law of God and therefore we should test our feelings and emotions by scripture, if they don’t line up we know that our feelings and emotions are wrong, read Romans 7:14-25. The Bible also teaches us to cast down anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ (the Word of God 2 Cor 10:5). So if your feelings or emotions contradict the Bible, Christians are supposed to, cast them down.
The Bible says in 1Jn 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 1Jn 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Knowing that Jesus is the Word we need to make sure we are in Him and that is by following His Word, the Holy Bible. This scripture tells a Christian that if you don't keep his commandments (His Word) then the truth, which is Jesus, is not in you. This is a hard saying but it is the truth. 1 John chapter 5 tells us if we love him we would also keep his commandments.
So check yourself according to the Bible. Are you in Jesus Christ, and do you really love Jesus Christ? Or is the jesus you believe in and follow, some other jesus you made up? There is no other Jesus Christ except the one clearly defined by the Holy Bible, do you serve Him today?

In 2 Co 11:3 it reads: “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 2Co 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
Paul writes here he fears the Christians are being deceived from the simple Word of Jesus Christ and being corrupted. Are you in Christ, and do you love Him? then simply keep his commandments. That means ALL of His commandments. Paul also tells us there are other jesus’ and other gospels, but the real Jesus is the same for all. You cannot take bits and pieces out of the Bible and follow only those ways and say that you follow the Jesus of the Bible. If this is what you are doing beware and take this warning, the Jesus you are following isn't the Jesus of the Bible, the only way to Heaven.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.
Many people believe the way they are living is alright before God’s eyes, and that they will make it to Heaven. But if you are not following the Jesus of the Holy Bible (Gods Word), then you are not in Him and truth is not in you. I know it is easy to ignore this article and keep on living a man made religion that you call ‘Christianity’, you know, the one that suits your own life, wants and needs. This is what 1Tim 4:1 is talking about. The spirit of compromise, a seducing spirit has taken hold, and the doctrines that you have made up, saying that you can follow only some of the Bible is a doctrine of the devil. Turn away from this false jesus, and follow the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible today! Get your life right with Him now and begin a proper scriptural relationship and walk with Him and know that you are in him and right with Him. Remember all the blessing and promises of the Bible were written to the fully committed disciples, and they are for you if you do the same. Bless you today as you begin obedient scriptural Christianity in your life and let's together bring honor to God and the real Christianity back to the church and the world.
