BUT FOR HIS GRACE

You confessed Him Lord and savior
He saved you from your sins
You became a new creature
By grace you were saved
But it is just the beginning
The journey is a long one
At first He carries you like a baby
Things happen like miracles
Then growth and maturity
The trials and temptations come
It is time for elevation, the next level!
You are in the middle of the river
You either swim or sink
He refines you like gold in the furnace
He prunes you to yield more fruit
You come out shining brighter
The dross and unwieldy growth removed
You have overcome by grace
No longer a baby!
You are moved from milk to meat
Imbued with new capacity
Empowered for greater exploits
This promotion requires Examination
Your faith must be tried
But by His grace you overcome.

”Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall” (1 Cor.10:12 NKJV)
