“The score was level in the local derby- and full time was near. “Penalty! Penalty! roared the crowd as a defender handled the ball in the ‘area’.
But the referee had spotted it. Blowing the whistle, he pointed to the spot. The player lined himself up for the kick of the match. The ball flew into the back of the net. A roar rose up from the crowd as the whistle blew for time. it was the deciding goal.
No one complained about the penalty. The infringement was clear, the referee could do no other than allow it.”

When Satan orchestrated the crucifixion of Jesus when he instigated the crowd to insist on the release of Barabas little did he know that he was playing into God’s hands. Jesus, the sinless lamb of God was crucified paying the price for the redemption of man who fell when Adam committed a high treason by selling out to the devil.

Yes Satan committed d a penalty through which an emphatic divine goal was scored against the powers of darkness. If they had known what they were doing they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory.
