His presence is known in the darkest hours
when all alone he is there
In the stillness of the night, the cry was heard
yes, our God he really does care

It matters not what, that has transpired
he sees what your going through
so just hold on, it's going to be all right
for God is fighting for you

Rest in him for to give the answers
and his word it will proceed
So don't worry about, the problems before
for that cry, the Lord did heed

In the longest days, to him is one
the many slowed hours, he holds dear
There are no weeks that can shut him off
for his presence is always near

He saw your tears in the midnight hours
was there when the first one fell
Every sorrow you felt, he knew about it
and now, right here to tell

To don't give up, help is on it's way
and he has not forgotten you
So hang on in there, and don't you despair
for your deliverance right now is due

He will build you up and establish you
restore that which is broken down
There is nothing that God can't do all over
and that is why he stays around

His righteousness in you will be renewed
his hands of approval will be on thee
So don't take no thought, in how it will happen
but just know it will come to be

Your partition it will be answered
for he alone does know the heart
And he hasn't forgotten your labor of love
and he will surly keep his part

He will render to you, the gladness of heart
his peace instilled, he will do
And whatever he says, it's on his way
for it is time to bring you through

Now take him at his every word
and just believe that it will be done
For his word is gone out, and won't return void
and whatever the battle, it has been won
