the Holy Spirit
when you

[THUNDEROUS VOICE.]
[SET DOWN A SCROLL
CARRYING A NEW
MESSAGE FROM ONE
OF HIS ANGELS.]
"You're just going to
have to WAIT;
My Chosen can't
be RUSHED."

[GENTLE SHRUG.]
[LOVINGLY GAZE
AT HIS EARTH
IN THE MIDST
OF HER BIRTH
PANGS.]
"Look..."
[GENTLE SMILE.]
"..Just how LONG.....
it took for her to
receive... Me:
her SAVIOR."

[PATIENT, WOEFUL FROWN.]
"Yes, but...."
[PATIENT SIGH.]
"....THAT...
took..over fifty YEARS!"

[THUNDEROUS SHAKE
OF THE HEAD.]
"WELL."
[THUNDEROUS CHUCKLE.]
"It might just have to
take ANOTHER ......!"

[PATIENTLY PLEADING
VOICE.]
"Can't You DO something,
Father? Perhaps....DRAW
her to Me, MORE?"

[THUNDEROUS BARK
OF LAUGHTER.]
"She's SCARED OF YOU!
She THINKS....YOU ARE
a....GHOST!"

[PATIENTLY WOEFUL
SHRUG.]
"Yes; I know.....
especially, since I used
to be called The Holy GHOST."
[PATIENTLY WOEFUL
SILENCE.]
"Maybe.....I should change
My NAME...."

[THUNDEROUS NOD.]
"Remember the
time, she called You ....
'CASPER'?"

[GENTLE CHUCKLING.]
[GENTLY TEASING VOICE.]
"Ah, yes.
I also remember her
calling You,
'the WIND...'?
and,
'just some INDIGESTION...
from a bag of DORITOS
that she ate....'?"

[THUNDEROUS LAUGH.]

[PATIENTLY WOEFUL GRIMACE.]
[PATIENT FROWN.]
"All I WANT.....is for
her not to be AFRAID
of Me....and, to LOVE Me!"

[GENTLE, TENDER VOICE.]
"We have been waiting....
for over two thousand
YEARS....for the all the.....NATIONS
to feel the same THING!"

[PATIENT SIGH.]

[THUNDEROUS SIGH.]

[GENTLE SIGH.]

(Silence.)
(The Holy Angels,
and the Guard Angels,
and some of the
Messenger Angels
kneeling before
the Flowing River of Life
and waiting for
their new Assignments,
all listen
but do not say
a word.)

[GENTLE VOICE.]
"All You can do......
Holy Spirit, is continue
to answer her questions....
and, patiently teach her...
and be there to comfort
her......"

[PATIENT VOICE.]
"And, then....ONE day...
the Miracle will happen?"

[GENTLE NOD.]
"Yes, Holy Spirit.....
ONE day....she will
know in her heart..."

[PATIENT VOICE.]
[THUNDEROUS VOICE.]
[GENTLE VOICE.]
"Who I AM."

So they said
to him,
'We have not
so much
as heard
whether
there is
a
Holy Spirit.'
[Acts 19:2]
