You have a purpose, you have a plan
You paid a price for every man
All you ask a simple yes
Then forgive you do my sin
Now life with you no longer grim
A fight night and day
With thoughts and actions grey
I call on you for strength
My own will not always pure
Temptations so dark I endure
You gave your Word as lamp to my feet
Sin and evil so easy to greet
Your Holy Spirit as my Help
Oh Lord, again make me strong
No longer to go wrong
As I learn about your grace
Forgiveness in my heart, joy on my face
Your voice I want to hear
When I’m in the cold
To bring my feet again on your road
