Creator God, Most High, Magnificent and Glorious King
I thank You for who You are and the hope that You bring

For You are the Reason I live, and You’re all that I am
So I implore on behalf of every child, woman and man

My prayer is for our past, present and eternity
That before it’s too late, we all fall to our knees

That broken hearts; repentant, remorseful and contrite
Would be healed by the power of Your Son’s redeeming Light

Please give us understanding of Your sacrifice on that tree
Administer the will for us to care and love so unconditionally

I pray we would gain wisdom and knowledge for living
And we’d know the love and peace that comes from cheerful giving

Father, give us humility that we may fall on our faces
And exchange course and hurtful talk for loving embraces

Lord, grant us patience, empathy and concern for others
For we are all made in Your image; all sisters and brothers

Lend us Your strength to persevere through hardship and pain
Let all of our trouble be wholly for You and Your gain

Help us grow daily, ever-maturing by Your measure
May everything we say and do delight and give You pleasure

All this I pray, in Your Son’s name so worthy
Amen and Amen; so let it be
