Doused on the outside; purified within.
I’m washed. I’m clean. I’m free from my sin

You are my Lifeline; my Friend; my Father
Almighty God; Jesus Christ; the Living Water

You’ve covered me with a mist of eternal grace
The more I surrender, the tighter Your embrace

Your mercies overflow just as a river in a flood
Your glory is evident in every drop of His blood

You drizzle forgiveness on me like rain
Because of Your righteousness, there’ll be not one stain

Your compassion pours out in the most refreshing shower
I’ll speak your Holy name through my very last hour

Your Word fills my heart like a beautiful song
I’ve been swept away by Your current so strong

Your faithfulness flows such as a natural spring
You’ve dampened my soul with the peace that You bring

I was baptized in water, but Your Holy Spirit revived
I’m born again; by Your wounds, I am derived
