“We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us . And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our (your) joy complete.”(1 John 1:3)

What is fellowship? It is when two or more individuals tell one another in regards to the things of God.

The Amplified Bible says it in more detail: "What we have seen and heard, we are also telling you, so that you too may realize and enjoy fellowship as partners and partakers with us.”

Fellowship is not just to talk or chat but it is also to receive or to have a share or portion from one another.

Many years ago, I had a very meaningful conversation with a sister in Christ. She shared many of her divine dreams. I was amazed at her experience and started to desire that God would also speak to me just like He did for her. I was very thankful when I had my first divine dream that night.

When I was young in Christ, I had a mentor who advised and guided me. She is a godly devoted intercessor. In my early walk with the Lord, I asked her many questions and listened to her experiences from God. Many healing, miracles, visions, and dreams were revealed in her life. During the many years in which we’re in fellowship, our family experienced divine healing like they did.

For examples: my mentor has a son who consistently had warts on his hand. Ten years ago, her son attended a conference. The message was about healing. After the message, her son was convicted to pray over his warts. Few days later, the warts were gone! After I heard this story, I told my husband about it. He, too, had warts through his life. My husband was thankful and started to rebuke the warts on his fingers. It worked! The warts were gone and never came back!! Through fellowship, we partook in what they had experienced.

Our family also associates with believers who love Israel. Few years ago, the door was opened for us to have a couple chances to visit Israel. Needless to say, our love for Israel continues to grow.

Whom do you fellowship with? If we talk about the things of the earth most of time, then we partake in many of the worries from the world.

It is very important to fellowship with believers who fellowship with the Heavenly Father and with Jesus Christ! As a result, a person will be able to partake in victory and joy! However, being in a group of believers who doesn’t believe in healing and miracles, a person partakes in unbelief.

We are not just talk about ourselves with one another, but to tell what God has done in our life. So first, we must fellowship with our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ through the Word and prayers. Next we must walk in the Light because God is light. Then we must fellowship with saints who walk in the Light, so that our joy in the Lord will be complete. Continually, we are transfigured into His very own image from one degree of glory to another.
