Isaiah 63:1 To appoint unto those who
mourn in Zion, to give them beauty them
beauty for ashes.

Out of the tribe of Judah
came the Almighty Lion,
He who is the salvation
for those who mourn in Zion.
Lord Jesus who calls the chosen
gave His life as a duty
to replace men's sinful ashes
with His own holy beauty.

Come now to the Lord Jesus
receive His holy adorning
the blessing of His salvation
to cleanse your ashes from mourning.
For it is appointed unto you
that you should freely receive
this beautiful holy blessing
as you in faith just believe.

Rejoice, now rejoice, O Christian
Your ashes of sin lay aside
Come to the Savior, Lord Jesus,
and with Him in peace abide.
As of Him His forgiveness
for the ashes you have of sin,
Receive from Him, His saving beauty
as your heart He does enter in.
