Faith

In the distance is a Lighthouse
on a shore I cannot see,
where LOrd Jesus leads and beckons
to live there eternally.
In the storms of life He calms me
as He reaches out His hand
to give me strength and courage
that I may rightly stand.

In the distance is a Lighthouse
and the Light is never dim
for it comes to me from Jesus
as I humbly trust in Him.
When grief in life besets me
He wipes away my tears.
When I am stressed with worries
He calms my awful fears.s

In the distance is a Lighthouse
How I long to reach that place
Where I shall meet Lord Jesus
in His holy Heavenly place
He is the Light, the Holy Light
and only He can impart
salvation in His saving grace
as He lives within my heart.
