Have I really won the fight if I lose the soul?
Have I only ceased to move if I failed to go?
I will not move if it takes me from my Lord and Christ.
I will choose to die because I have the Life.
I am only here as a vapor in this time.
I am an eternal thought in the holy Mind.
I will always be because I have the Love.
I will live beyond because I am borne above.
When one’s eyes have been shown truths beyond this world and time,
then all this life offers fails to be sublime.
Give me Beauty and the Love, with holy Truth to seal it,
I will give you vastness in the wisdom of God’s Spirit.
I am disheveled outwardly, with a renewed soul.
I am falling apart, as all see. Inside I am whole.
On a short leash of promises, this is my precious lot.
It is by these promises, I have been wholly bought.
What so gladly limits me will take me to eternity
where I will know the One of all Infinity.
So let me take, let me tell, of the love of Christ.
Let me show of the Resurrection and the Life.
I am compelled by the Love, given all I need.
I will move as I am called; as the Spirit leads.
Let Him, please, win the fight as I gain your soul.
My satisfaction is in moving where I am told to go.
