The wheel turned
Spinning me through the moments
I was formed anew
From a soft heart within
Each time a blemish
Touched my supple surface
His hand would quickly work
Leaving only beauty
Then through times of trouble
The fire hardened the clay
My heart was hidden well
Beneath the cracking shell
Then I fell and shattered
The pieces lay askew
All the beauty gone
What am I to do?
Then he gathered all the shards
Forming them again
Into something grand
Greater than any could imagine
Over and again
I spun round and round
Until the very last turn
I finally stood complete
