"As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman who is without discretion" (Prov. 11:22, KJB).

God said that a pretty woman who does not use her head resembles a pig wearing a gold ring in its snout. That pig will head for the nearest mud puddle and cover that gold ring with mud.

Elsa wore fine clothes, and fixed her hair in an elegant style. However, the dirty garments of the world soiled her.

God held out hope for this "pig." He sent His only Son to die for her. She repented and trusted Christ as her Saviour. He washed away the filth from her heart.No longer a "pig," He called her a sheep. She searched the Word of God, and applied it. She no longer smells like a "pig", but like a fleecy white lamb.

Sometimes, she gets a spot here and there on her garments. God does not require her to take a bath. When she repents and confesses that she slipped in this area or that, her Shepherd will wash away each spot. He will forgive her, and teach her prudence.

May I, like Elsa, come to the Shepherd? Let Him wash away each spot and make me whole again.

Oh God, forgive me when I sin. Teach me prudence in all areas of my life. In Jesus' name. Amen.
