Why it happened we don't know
nor how strange that it may be
But rest assure that it's alright
for it's in, God's plan you see!

Why wonder and ponder on every little thought
when all things are in his hands
So what is there to do, but, to wait on him
and leave it all in his command

If he says it's alright, then it's alright
and it's nothing that we can do
Even though we pout and try to figure it out
he's already worked it out for me and you

So hang on in there and don't despair
and lets slow down and rest our minds
Let faith take hold and we stand bold
and know the Lord is always on time

Now allow the peace of God, to prevail
and let him work, at his own pace
Then we will see, it was better after all
to let him fix, those problems we face
