“Forever Valentine”

The heart . . .Such a fragile thing
And oh, so easily broken
As I express undying love to you
Let these sincere words, be a token

A token, of feelings so warm
Lying deep . . . Within my heart
When we met, our love began to form
Our hearts beat in unison, at the start

True love, is not so easy to find
So many search for it, in vain
Some say that love is. . .Blind
Bringing much heartache and pain

Yet, you and I have something
Not unheard of, nor unique
Cupid's arrow, left its sting
Uniting us . . . So to speak

I Remember. . .The day we met
Many glances, our eyes did afford
It seems, that's then our fate was set
Bound together, in “Loves”invisible cord

Its love like ours, that keeps us strong
It is our fortress, in every storm
Through it all, we sing a victory song
While keeping, sheltered and warm

Its on this day, of “Love & Hearts”
I seem to emit, a happy glow
Thinking of the many, eventful parts
That caused our love to grow and grow

Your love, means more than life to me
You're in my heart, you'll always be mine
Our love will carry over to . . . Eternity
For you are my “Forever, Valentine.”
