Lord, another day is over,
a new night begins to dawn.
I sit in the darken silence,
And let myself be drawn.

Move me slowly to You,
draw me close and near.
Lift from me my burdens,
Raise me from my fear.

Encourage me to find You,
persuade me to let go.
Give me Your assurance,
that tomorrow I will grow.

Help me to find Your purpose,
Influence me to seek Your will.
Give unto me Your peace,
so I may be calm and still.

Advance me to Your goal,
further me along the way.
As I give You my tomorrow,
I thank You, for this day.
