Sometimes I have to wonder,
if God wears a big old frown.
If He mumbles and grumbles,
as He drives from town to town.

If He wakes up drained and tired,
if He complains throughout the day.
If He gets perturbed and frustrated,
when things don’t go His way.

I wonder if He gets angry,
if He gets just plain annoyed.
If He is more than a little agitated,
and He feels a joyless void.

If He needs and seeks His own space,
if He wants to be left all alone.
If He wishes no one would bother Him,
or call Him on the phone.

I only wonder these things,
because as His child, I should to be.
An imitator of His love,
But that’s not what others,always see!
