Hear me, Father, from the depths. 
My desire is for You.  

I couldn't last without Your goodness.
Nothing I do succeeds without You.  
I would end without Your provision. 
My life would fail unless for You.

My soul dries up from Your silence. 
I am brought to a bitter brink.
If I never hear You again, let me die,
  for I am nothing without Your voice.  

Blind me if I'll never see Your face. 
Cut off my hands 
  if I can't serve my God. 
Take my feet 
  if I have no grace to follow You.

I want nothing 
  that's not from Your hand. 
If I must be poor, 
  let it be in Your name.

Don't give me the Plan 
  without the Planner.  
The only will I want is Your own, 
  for if I have that I have You.  
I'll go to hell if I know 
  You will be with me.

Your heart is my life. 
Your desire my need. 
I am not alive unless 
  I sense Your presence!
