Whenever that we get weary and low
and not know just what to do
But, somehow in, the midst of it all
our God he will come through

There may be times when we sat and wonder
what route that we shall take
Our little hearts do seek, to find a way
hoping not, to make that mistake

But, how wonderful is our guiding light
that shows us, the right direction
And that's the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
who covers us with his protection

He will make known what his plans for us
and to bring what's good and true
you see we're only instruments for his work
that he's preparing to bring anew

When we have put our best foot forward
and we have done all we can do
Then just know that our Savior has gone before
and his favor will rest upon you

His purpose in us must be fulfilled
through-by every trial and test
For the potter knows how to make the clay
and with this, our souls can rest
