Son of God - Son of Man

Isaiah 9:6-For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.


Isaiah writes "a child will be born TO US". That child would provide all we need to know God. He would be ours to trust and believe in for all eternity because He is Mighty God, Eternal Father. That child is Jesus.

"A son will be given to us." God GAVE US His Son; that was God's gift TO US on that first Christmas. He was born to to show us how to relate to the Father and to others. He was The Way to reconciliation, forgiveness, hope and freedom. Jesus truly is the Son of Man.

He rules now in God's Kingdom and in God's perfect time "the government will rest on His shoulders" and He will rule the world with fairness, truth and mercy.

Isaiah prophesied the coming of Jesus, our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace, Savior, Redeemer, Lord and King!

God's Son; His perfect gift to us!

Believe in Him. Trust Him. Know Him. Worship and adore Him.
