"Judge not that you be not judged, for with the judgment you mete, it shall be meted to you again."
Do you have someone in your life: friend, relative, or acquaintance who has wronged you? Or holds different views on core issues that have caused a bitter dispute and now exists as a cold and extended silence? If there is absolutely nothing you can do to resolve the issue, then release that person into God's hands. Change your negative emotion about him/her. Let peace reign in your heart concerning him/her. If it can't go forward, then slip it into neutral and leave it there: no judgment, no emotion attached--just peaceful coexistence, no hatred or regret, no lingering what ifs. Jesus sometimes just walked away. Some relationships just have to be slipped into neutral for now.
