“I have loved you with an everlasting love and you are mine.” Jeremiah 31:3

Christmas is the most sentimental and festive time of the year; the anticipation, the crib, Christmas tree, carols, cards, sweets, lights and winter. It is a joy to partake in the Christmas celebrations with one and all.

I have always pondered over the real meaning of Christmas. It is not the decorations, celebrations, e.t.c. which should take the upper hand, but the spirit of caring, sharing, giving, loving and forgiving.
The magical Christmas card is a great way to heal old wounds with those who are
estranged from us. Cards depicting pictures of the Holy Family are ideal so that the real essence of Christmas is not lost.

The Christmas tree and Santa Claus are all nice but it is the Crib with the Child Jesus which should take an important place, not just in our homes but in our hearts as well.
We give gifts to one and all on this joyous occasion but let us not forget to give the
special birthday gift to Jesus himself and that is the gift of our hearts filled with love.
So, rejoice at the birth of Christ our Lord and make his birthday a special day where the Lord will feel loved and cherished by us. Let us spread the love of Christ to one and all.

This is the miracle of Christmas; that God loved us so much that he sent his only Son into the world to save us from our sins.

May we recall the glory of the first Christmas night in Bethlehem in a humble stable and may the dawn of the Christmas morn fill our hearts with never ending hope and peace.
May the Star of Bethlehem always shine on us and guide our paths towards the Child Jesus in the manger.
May the Christmas candle burn brightly in our hearts and homes.

Remember, the Real Meaning of Christmas is the giving of love every day.
