Subject: The vault of NuggetS!!!!




Hi Friends,
This edition of nuggetz will take a poetic tilt and is it's an
allegorical story of sorts.I do hope it will make an interesting reading
and please,your usual comments and feedback will be of great help to me.
Thanks for believing in me and those who always nudge me on to keep
writing have a great place in my heart.

THE VAULTS OF NUGGETS
there was once a vault of nuggets
lost in a ticket of thorns and briers
and covered with dross and mire
fiery lions with flaming teeth
guarded the gates like sentries

men longed for these nuggets
many dreamt of the riches in the vault
each time the lion roared
they vanished in a flash
as fear held them hostage for ages
yet they languished in penury
while their beaquated riches wasted

then came a young shepherd boy
in a deep search for the father's lost sheep
it was the only lamb in the fold
as he trudged thro the tickets
torns tattoed his skin with crusty blood
but he pressed on in the search...

then his eyes alighted on golden box
he looked around and about
but saw no lions nor sentries
though heavy he lifted it up
on his shoulders it rested
and he trudged on ...

then he met the lions
in obeisance and heaviness they lay
stained with the blood of his little lamb
a ransom he paid not without tears

but in the vault was the key of life
so was the lad crowned the king of the age
over the nobles,princes and statesmen
thus he ruled them for life
for whoever had the vault of nuggets
was given the rite of passage
to the treasures of that kingdom
which all had longed to have .....!!!!

Epilogue:
From the forgoing ,it's evident that a mere wish is not as powerful as a
desire that is pursued.A goal that is invested in is worthier than a
lofty dream that is not pursued.This is the stuff that delineate
achievers from the onlookers in every generation of humanity.
Go for the golden nuggets of life.do not settle for the pebbles that are
scattered on the walkways of life.
The Lions may guard the vaults but they can be distracted by the site of
a helpless lamb.
