Why does fall make me think
of spring that is yet to come?
Wanting to skip right over winter,
and the warmth when it's done...

I think of all the tiny flowers
These special gifts from above,
violets and lily of the valley...
fill my heart with the joy of our love..

Little flowers that smell so sweet,
growing so low to the ground...
yet if you look, just like God's blessings,
they are there, just waiting to be found..

Just like the blessings of our love,
they are brand new for us each new day...
for God has given us both the best gift,
to care for one another in every way...

Small sweet gestures, given each day,
proclaim our love so true...
and each of them done with thought and care,
just to say how much I LOVE YOU!!

So think that you receive a bouquet
of tiny flowers every day from me...
given with joy, happiness of heart,
You've made me the happiest I could ever be!
