I found a word one day,
just laying on the ground,
just four letters gathered there,
the meaning so profound...

I picked it up and brought it to you,
I did want to share,
I gave you it all, yet when I looked
I had even more in my care!

What an odd word is this,
it multiplies when divided to share;
easy to add to, difficult to subtract,
it always seems to be there!

I know God put that word there for me,
He knew just what I would do;
for He had just given me my dreams,
so the love had to be given to you!

The word of course was sent from above,
a gift it always must be,
and it only becomes all that was meant,
when it's given away for free!

This is the gift I give to you,
every day it is brand new...
for my heart overflows with this word,
what sheer joy to say how I LOVE YOU!!

The word of course is the word 'love',
once given, it gives so much more...
Peace and joy, sweetness and delight,
I give it all to my Lucian, whom I adore!!
