Just passing through
This shadowed land
Have no desire to stay
I'll not be bound
No tangled snare
Can capture or dismay.

Yet while I'm passing through
I'll leave a blazing trail
To loose the shackled residents
Long lost on winsome's frail
And blighted efforts to be free.

There is a path a vision clear
To those who seek His face
To loose the shackled refugees
Long bound in dismal waste
Of life's sacred guardian --
Hope the blessed sword --
To severe all entanglements
Restoring just reward.

So pure a sacrifice
Oh penitent heart redeemed
Was the blood on Calvary shed
To purge and wash us clean.

Redeeming grace, anointed power
No shackle can withstand
The mighty hand on Heaven's throne
That set the captives free
Will go before and conquer death
Who sought to conquer me.

My Savior's light doth far exceed
The darkness of despair
On heaven's path I'm pressing on
To meet Him in the air.

Would that I had not found grace
I too had suffered loss
Recovered He my life to me
With blood He paid the cost.

I once was blind but now I see
Through death He made a way
Our ransom paid on Calvary
And now to God we pray.

"Our Father who art in Heaven ..."
