Now it happened
as He went to
Jerusalem
that He passed
through the
midst of Samaria
and Galiliee.

(Sassy look up at ceiling

what's IN IT?"

[PAUSE.]

(Mumble.)

when he saw
that he was healed,
returned and
with a loud voice,
glorified God,
and fell down
on his face...
and he was
a Samaritan.'

about the Miracles
of Jesus....
it says the Jews
hated these
Samaritan guys!"

STATES that
the Jews hated
them!"

[NOD.]

(Reach in drawer,
for a Rolaids,
too.)
"Right here!

'Then the woman
of Samaria said to Him,
How is it that You,
being a Jew,
ask a drink from me,
a Samaritan woman?
For the Jews
have no dealings
with Samaritans.'
[John 4:9]

[PATIENT NOD.]
[LOVING GAZE.]
"What is the
Story about,
My beloved?"

(Shrug.)
"Eh....."
(Shrug.)
(Frown.)

Ya know:
It's about...
..HOW to make the
JEWS look as bad,
as POSSIBLE?"

[PATIENT FROWN.]

that OTHER STORY?
...The ONE about
the 'Good Samaritan'?
Read that ONE!"

ABOUT!"

[PATIENT SILENCE.]

"Yeah, yeah!
Here it is:

Jesus answered,
and said;
A certain man
went down from
Jerusalem to Jericho,
and fell among thieves.....
leaving him half dead.
Now by chance, a ...
preist came down that road
...he passed by...
Likewise a Levite, when he
arrived at the place, came
and looked, and passed by...
But, a certain Samaritan...
as he journeyed, came where
he was. And when he saw
him, he had compassion.

Isn't this just another...
'Let's hate all the Jews'
story'? I mean, all it
does is bad-mouth THEM!"

[PATIENT SILENCE.]

[TENDER VOICE.]

If you knew the
gift of God,
and Who it is
Who says to you,
'Give Me a drink'
you would have asked Him
and He would have given
you living water.
