(Point to hurting part.)

(Still pointing.)
(Shout.)
"After THAT,
I got a whole BUNCH 'A
STUFF,
that NEEDS to be HEALED,
TOO!"

[SILENCE.]

(Squinting, searchingly,
up at the ceiling.)
"Aw!
Come ON!
You HEAL everybody ELSE!"

[SILENCE.]

"No FAIR!"

[SILENCE.]

(Whiny voice.)
"WE don't have to
tell the FATHER!
(Ornery mumble.)
HE'S MEAN!"

[TENDER VOICE.]
"He loves you,
child."

(Look away.)
(Frown.)
(Shrug carelessly.)
(Mumble.)
(Shrug.)

[GENTLE VOICE.]
"O,
how He,
loves you."

(Chin trembles.)
(Look the other way.)
(Shrug.)
(Wipe away tear.)
"He loves OTHER PEOPLE..."
(Look away.)
(Sniff.)
"....not,
ME!"

"There is
no greater
Love,
My little one."

(Wipe away another tear.)
(Stare up at ceiling.)
(Scratchy voice.)
"Oh, YEAH?
Well...THEN,
WHY DID HE
PUSH ME DOWN
AN ELEVATOR SHAFT?"

[LONG PAUSE.]
"He is only waiting,
child,
for you
to take
His Hand."
