"Through you we push down our foes; through your Name we tread down those who rise up against us. For not in my bow do I trust, nor can my sword save me." Psalm 44:5-6

“They surrounded me on every side, but they died out as quickly as burning thorns; in the name of the Lord I cut them off. They swarmed around me like bees, but they died out as quickly as burning thorns; in the name of the Lord I cut them off. I was pushed back and about to fall, but the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” Psalm 118:11-14

The Lord is my HELPER
“Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself;
the Lord will hear when I call to him” Psalm 4:3
Their plans have been to my advantage
They want to get rid of me
The Kingdom of Heaven affects their plans
They have tried much to empty my life
But their plans have been to my advantage
Because it allows me to see the Greatness of the Kingdom—
They don’t like me very much because
I told them that their path would clash with my Government (Heaven’s)
They deny the Crucifixion so I will always be at odds with them

They will continue to try and work me out
But the Word of the Lord remains true—
My comfort comes from knowing that Jesus Christ is Lord

Their plan is set but Yahweh’s Plan stands
My enemies dislike me but I know that
Yahweh wants me to pray for my enemies—
My Lord controls the situation and so
I stand and face my enemy even though
They are so deceptive—
I call on the Name of the Jesus
Because He is my Saviour

They will continue to try and work me out
But the Word of the Lord remains true—
My comfort comes from knowing that Jesus Christ is Lord
