TRUST
Trust and obey
For there is no other way
To be happy in Jesus
But to trust and obey


Trust is powerful and deep, when practically applied it means to have faith, belief and confidence in a person.
Unshakable conviction in and about the subject

The Bible urges us to totally PUT OUR TRUST IN THE LORD
To have faith in Him, ‘without which, no man shall see God!’

Faith in His ways and commands and believing that His thoughts for us always, are truly GOOD not evil.

The hall of faith in the book of Hebrews lists a number of people in Bible times that TRUSTED in and had unshakeable faith in the Lord God.

To express this deepest of emotions without boundaries is to be self-less, becoming totally dependent and a dependant that has fully surrendered all.
This cannot happen without submission in everyway, without becoming humble and meek.

To learn to trust is to become devoid of ME, MYSELF AND I!

But how can we reach this standard (Because it is a standard not a level) letting go of all inhibitions and stumbling blocks of pride, self-centeredness, cultural and traditional mindset, instinctive feelings of envy and jealousy (which usually leads to all types of sins)

The Lord Jesus says to lead ONE MUST FIRST SERVE; it takes trust in these words to understand the message within, because the instinctive response to a lifting-up to a new level (of course, above others) or to a position of authority is pomposity and there-is-no-one-like-me attitude this is displayed in full bloom like the proverbial Peacock.

How can we also trust in the one that is closest to us like Jesus said, ‘how can you love God that you have not seen when you can not even show love to your brother whom you CAN see”? For example a brother/sister –in-Christ

Trust in a husband/wife? We are charged not to be unequally yoked

Trust in a friend? Psalm 1 encourages us to choose our company with wisdom

Trust in parents? In the first instance, we have no choice in this regard so how do we trust, those who we have been put in their care but in some cases, they have hurt us in so many ways, some seemingly beyond forgiveness, repairs or atonement?

Total Trust and faith is a child-like quality that does not question the reason why but for some innate reason, IT JUST IS SO!



Trusting the Lord, which eventually heals us of all past wounds and leads us to trusting others in our various relationships takes willingness as a first step and perseverance in the walk till the goal is achieved through Jesus Christ our Lord
