MY FLESH 2


My flesh thinks it is pretty hot stuff, that God aught to come down and give me an award for being so faithful and so dedicated…
it’s conceited.

My flesh believes it has done a tremendous job of being spiritual and staying submitted to the Most High - it thinks I deserve a medal from Christ...
It is spiritually arrogant.

My flesh is convinced that it has sacrificed so much for heaven, it has ideas of great nobility for God’s work and His will…
it is deceived.

My flesh believes it is so dedicated to exalting Jehovah and honoring Him - really, I was just very scared so I obeyed most of the time…
not all that loyal.

My flesh thinks it loves Jesus so much, that He is the theme of my spirituality, but a lot of it is just conscience...
trying not to have guilt.
