A tactic of Satan is to prusuade us to worry, so to Distort the relationship between my Father and his children. Also, the ability to obey. There is no room for worry in a believer's life, but only in an unbeliever's life do they have reason to worry. Reassurance (of a believer not having to worry) is that it is written that my Father "Will not let [his] Holy One see decay" (Acts 13:35-reference to Psalm 16:10). This was in reference and prophecy to Christ. We are called to become Christ-like and are children of God, so the verse would have to apply to us and our walk as well. We will not be left alone. My Christ could have worried about the pain of the cross and the abandonment by brothers and others, but He did not because otherwise He would not have been able to do all that He did and result in obeying the Father. Jesus knew that it had a great and lasting purpose. He was thinking of all the lost sheep to whom would be given life through this Good Shepard. That is true love, that a man lay down his life for the ones he loves so that you and I may have new life. To breath for the first time and escape the box that contained us. What a love! Even when there were so many opportunities for worry to infect. That is how special we are to Him. So rejoice!
