Get in the boat; go to the other side
Smooth sailing, comfortable ride

Suddenly a furious storm churns the sea
But how could this be

Had they not followed His command
The winds and wave they did not understand

How could He sleep?
They were about to be tossed into the deep

They cried out in despair
Did He not care

He heard their desperate pleas
He calmed the wind and seas

Where is your faith, he did inquire
Have I not been with you in wind, water and fire



Often storms enter our life
Creating heartache and strife

Even when we are doing our best
We are often put to the test

While walking in his will
Storms the skies may fill

While it may seem that he is asleep
There is no need to fear or weep

Remember who and whose your are
And that He is never far.

Peace, Be Still
Can be a command for the storm to still
Or a comfort our heart to heal.
