MY FLYING TIME

Oh, Ancient of times
I worship you my sweet divine
I feel your presence near
Come on, let’s go
Take me
Let me glide along the universe edge
Way out there on a ledge
Knowing I am safe from harm
Because of your loving pledge

Now your spirit in me expels
Bubbling over and exploding into
Particles of a perfect flight pattern
Spreading my arms and seeing wings
Soaring toward Jupiter and Saturn
Free, free, free at last from this body
That holds me bound down called human flesh

Please I beg of you, don’t ever chain me up again
I must be free
Let my fly
Let me fly, oh spirit of the wind
Let me see unseen things

Hold me blue clouds
Let me feel the mist of the sweet aroma of God
Cuddle me, don’t let go
For I must see
I must know
That I am one with you
Entwine me, roll me over
Rub my belly, let me kick and play
Love you, love you, love you
Please let me stay

Oh, hallelujah, Praise a living God
You set me free
The day your Son was born
Now I can fly forever young
All the work was done
The day the veil was torn
Winging my way inside the throne room,
I come boldly
I lay this body down
And I will never pick it up again
Because I am free!
