Ephesians 6:13 "... and having done all to stand."

When we become children of the Most High God, the spirit of God dwells within us. It is a spirit of love and of power. It is a spirit that resurrects us when we rely upon Him. His beauty and strength within us is able to grant us favor among those around us.

When life begins to test your faith, the word of God is a strong defense against the worlds devices and threats. The word of God is the only weapon to fight lifes battles. Coupled with Praise, it can fight the battle of sickness and disease, of poverty and lack, of doubt and despair, and any other trial and tribulation. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, his only reply to the enemy was simply the word of God. It is "more powerful than a two-edged sword".

As a child of God even if you find yourself weakened by some blow that life has dealt you. This vulnerability will cause you to see God in action as he protects you with His love. "In weakness is His strength made perfect." He will also, "Give power to the faint and to them that have no might He increases strength". There is no circumstance that He cannot handle.

You might think its hard to stand when you are alone. But, "The Lord helps those who have no helper". This is why, "We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us." Look how triumphant Josephs life was. He only had God, and that was all he needed after the brutal betrayal from his siblings. "But what they meant for evil, God meant for good." And accomplished great things in the life of Joseph.

So if you are alone or feeling weak the Lord is ready to move mountains for you. Often grief can make us weak. But there again, "The Lord is nigh to one of a broken heart ..." There is no need that God cannot meet. His children are precious in His eyes and He wants to show you how much He loves you. So remember you are highly prized in the eyes of God.
